History:
Tony grew up in Florence, Italy. He was raised just outside of the city, on a patch of land in a modest sized house. Tony never knew what his family did. It never came up in conversation. He lived a happy, though somewhat sheltered life, going to school in a private academy in the city, where he was well known, and well liked.
His world changed when he came to adult-hood. He went to North America, traveling to the city of New York. There, he settled down with a girl by the name of Marrionette, and he became an American citizen. He joined the military as soon as he could, specifically the Rangers. He was good. Really good, and was on a fast track to high rank. However, that wasn't to be. He was home, on leave. He had just got into town, and was coming home to suprise his wife. It was the last day of normalcy he would ever have.
He came in the door to hear a terrifying scream, and a screeching roar. The door to his bedroom burst open, and out came a leopard the size of a pony. It was covered in blood, its face bathed in hot red fluid, its eyes wild with hunger. Being a good military boy, Tony wasn't unarmed. He always had his own gun on him, but it was in his bag. He struggled with the zipper, and just got his hands around the grip when the thing was on him. He hit the ground, pinned by it's massive weight. He, however, managed to get his handgun up, a 9mm Beretta, and pumped every bullet he could into the creature. While they weren't silver, they still managed to seriously wound the animal, making it recoil and leave him on the ground. A neighbor, hearing the gunshots, had come over with his rifle, and managed to kill the beast before it could strike again.
In short order, Tony left the military. He managed to keep his shift secret, having taken enough care to do at least that much. However, he simply could not continue in the life he had currently taken. He withdrew into himself, further and further. The day his wife died had come with many discoveries, including that she had been cheating on him while he was away, a fact that ended her life when she chose the wrong type to bed. He was a broken man, and he didn't think he would ever be the same.
A local pard managed to "save" him, however. Accepted into their society, supported by his "peers", and tutored by his superiors, Tony finally started to come out of his shell. One particular case, a Tristan Severo, was of interest to him, and was a key factor in Tony coming out of his self-destructive stupor. Sadly, his would-be friend was chased out of the city, when he disobeyed the Raj and hunted the killer of the young mans sister. The pair were seperated, and Tony hasn't seen the younger man since.
Shortly after this episode, as he was coming back into himself again, Tony recieved a call. His parents were dead, killed in a fire in Florence. He left New York, then, returning to the place he had grown up.
Tony's life changed substantially, at this point. His fathers business had been revealed to him not a week after his death, as numerous contractors called, looking to hire Anthony Amonti Senior for various jobs. These jobs were for delivery of goods of all types, most of which were illegal. Tony's father had been a Transporter.
Momentarily daunted by the situation, especially since he had just recently buried his dead father, Tony still accepted many of the offers. Since then, he has kept up his fathers black-market business.
At the same time, he was integrating himself into the local pard. Italy is a dangerous place for supernaturals of all types and stripes (or spots), and someone of Tony's training and survival skill were well recieved by the beleagered cats of the Italian city. Here, he raised himself in stature and power, until he ran the pard, if only as the actual power. The Raj, a figure-head at most, was a foolish man with a mind only for his own pleasures. This had been the exact thing that Tony had played upon, freeing up the superior to deal with himself, while Tony supported the younger, weaker cats of the pard. It wasn't what he had in New York, but it was still a good life, if rather behind the scenes.
Things just weren't meant to stay easy and happy for Anthony Junior, however. The Raj of Florence wasn't the most intelligent man, and was certainly more prideful and cocky than he should have been. It was in this arrogance and pride that The Wild Hunt rose up. Raj Pacciano revealed himself in a slightly more public than he believed location, which featured in every newspaper across the nation. Fearful humans, spurned by the cries of the Catholic Church, rose up in a mass mob, hunting down and slaughtering everything supernatural they could unbury.
The Hunt was a terror, killing hundreds in its wake, one of the first to fall being Raj Pacciano. Tony gathered the small pard of his hometown, and he led them out of the destruction, though many were lost on the way. Feeling responsible for the fall of his "family", Tony delivered his inferiors to safe havens along the way, before finally settling in Madrid. There, he avoided pard politics at all costs, and returned to a life as a Transporter For Hire.
It was years later, and Tony had heard news. Supernaturals were beginning to stumble back into the unstable landscape of Italy. Curious, and desiring the company of other lycans more than he was willing to ever admit, Tony returned to Florence. He had never been outted as a supernatural, and as such found little difficulty in returning to his family home. It was still there, though it hadn't been used for several years.
One of the first people he met, upon returning, was Maddalyn Rose Gallahan, or Maddy for short. For the first time in years, he felt something other than cool acceptance.
Time passed, and he found himself drawn more to the less-than-charismatic young leopard, who had manifested power to rival his own in far less time. He helped her, supported her, lifted her up, and gave her a hand in solidifying the new Pard in Florence. You would think he would have learned his lesson, however things fell into hell again. Florence, and all of Italy for that matter, errupted once again. A Necromancer, known as Arionette, was openly outted in the city, and the frenzy of the nation under most Catholic sway was only rivalled by it's previous clash with the supernatural community. As before, Italy was bathed in supernatural blood though, as before, Tony managed to escape. This time, with the entire pard, including Maddy. They parted ways upon leaving the nation, Tony going east, while Maddy went west. They swore they would see eachother again, and would meet in Kansas City. Then, they both set to the task of finding new homes for their charges.
It's been months since their seperation, but finally, Tony is on his way back. He had stayed far longer than he had expected, fighting back against forces that had threatened to destroy those he swore he would protect. One of those forces was a vampire in the city of Berlin. After killing the creature, he had been asked to leave, to stave off the response of the vampires. The Raj there, and the Master of the City, had come to an agreement that the Italian cat would depart, or the rest of the pard would fall for his crime. Tony had readily agreed. Now, his only challenge is to find his partner again. This time, maybe.... JUST maybe.... disaster won't follow.
