General Lycan rules:
If a young Lycanthrope shifts, he or she will immediately fall into a slumber post feeding/hunting as they hold no control over their beasts. The Alpha of the Lycans can shift back after spending 8-10 hours in form. If they shift back too early, they too will find themselves in a coma state.
Lycanthropes cannot get infections. If they are seriously injured, the most danger they are in is shock from blood loss.
It is illegal to give lycanthropy to a minor and it carries a death sentence.
The cat-based lycanthropy is less contagious than the rat and wolf forms, though no one knows why
Lycanthropes are controlled by the full moon. During that time, they are forced to change into their animal form and hunt.
After a Lycanthrope shifts it must feed, usually done by hunting
Their healing powers are extraordinary. All wounds eventually close. Limbs that were ripped off are remade the next time they shift into animal form.
If the lycanthrope is young or it is too close to the full moon, the scent of blood or sex can cause them to shift into their animal form. Also, any form of anger or tension may also cause the shift.
Leopard Rules:
Pard is the name of a group of Wereleopards, as in family, just as a Pack is to wolves.
Chain of Command:
Nimir Raj- Male Leader of the pard
Nimir Ra -Female Leader of the pard
Leopard Lionne- A term for the wereleopard leader who protects the pard actively.
Rampant Leopard - Protector, avenger
Leopard Passant- Means Sleeping Leopard- Alpha who doesn’t actively protect the pard.
To ask for protection, a leopard can petition a dominant by moving into the dominant. If it is granted, the dominant will touch the submissive which then signals to any other lycanthropes in the area that he or she will protect that petitioner from their enemies/pursuers.
When wereleopards greet a dominant, a common practice is to lick the hand of the dominant, unless the situation is inappropriate at the time. (ex. A very public place that is uncomfortable with lycans, aka, regular bars/grocery stores/ etc.)
